Dr. Keller has performed several thousand microsurgical ophthalmic procedures since 1989, including many successful LASIK surgeries. He has performed LASIK surgery since it was approved by the FDA in the mid-1990s. And now Dr. Keller has added the incredibly accurate and precise Ladarvision Custom LASIK procedure so that you can not only see more, but see it clearer and sharper.
Moreover, Dr. Keller has extensive clinical experience and is an accomplished researcher in corneal surgery and new drug development. He has studied at some of the nation's most prestigious hospitals and universities. He is fellowship trained as a sub specialist in cornea and refractive surgery at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
In addition, his background as an internist and an emergency physician enable him to recognize the effects on the eyes of diseases elsewhere in the body.
Dr. Keller is a graduate of Brown University, with an M.D. from Boston University School of Medicine. He served a research and clinical fellowship at Harvard Medical School and has been published in medical journals.
Dr. Keller is a board member of the Orange County Society of Ophthalmology, chairman of Saint Joseph Hospital’s Department of Ophthalmology and ENT and a member of the Medical Executive Committee of St. Joseph Hospital. He also holds membership in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, California Medical Association, Orange County Society of Ophthalmology and the Orange County Medical Association.
